Oberlin President Marvin Krislov connected Oberlin’s founding and history to our unique brand of entrepreneurship today at LaunchU. Gene Carr ’82 told the LaunchU story – how the initiative grew out alumni involvement, commitment, and funding. Matthew Utterback ’95, Oberlin’s Director of Entrepreneurship described how LumenED formed through participation in Oberlin’s Business Scholars, Creativity & Leadership Program, and LaunchU. Hav questions? Need help with your LaunchU application? Just getting started? Trying to perfect your application? Sit down with students who’ve successfully completed LaunchU, and the LaunchU staff. The help session will be taking place November 3, from 4:30 – 8:30, in Wilder 101. Pizza and snacks will be provided. LaunchU is an intensive, three-week long winter term program designed to help you create the change you want to see in the world through entrepreneurship, broadly defined.
