Manager of Entrepreneurship Programming and Operations

Nicole M. Hayes is Manager of Entrepreneurship Programming and Operations. She coordinates activities and events related to the Creativity & Leadership initiative, including LaunchU. A native of Massachusetts, Nicole previously worked for Bain & Co. and the Harvard Business School, where she connected renowned business history and entrepreneurship scholars with an unparalleled collection of documentary resources. In 2005, she relocated to Ohio and built a highly successful education and outreach program at the nation’s oldest nonprofit art conservation center–begun at Oberlin in 1952 but now located in Cleveland’s emerging Hingetown neighborhood–prior to joining C&L. Nicole holds a master’s degree in American history from the College of William & Mary in Virginia; she writes a popular blog about the economic and social landscape of a nineteenth-century Ohio town, which has had more than 40,000 visits from around the world.
