While a student at Oberlin College, Andrew Liang spent much of his time working and dining in the OSCA community. Following graduation in 2010 he continued to follow his passion for food working and has worked for innovative companies like Theo Chocolate in Seattle and for high-profile chefs such as Daniel Ryan & Kim Floresca, formerly of the 3 Michelin star Restaurant at Meadowood.

A chocolatier & fine dining chef by trade, Andrew Liang later left the food industry to pursue work that would combine his interests in food, sustainability, entrepreneurship & social impact. In joining Greenstart as co-founder and COO, he aims to make a difference in underresourced communities by fighting food deserts & creating more equitable food systems in Durham, NC and beyond.
